What Your Effective Lean Manufacturing Can Look Like

At Applied Performance, we conduct an Operation Survey to understand what effective Lean Manufacturing looks like in your organization. There are two parts to this survey: There are 2 aspects to our productivity surveys.

This looks at how Lean is integrated into your operation, asking questions such as:

• How well is Lean used by the company?
• Is Lean thinking integrated into the way the company thinks and operates?
• Is Lean just a few tools used in one or two areas.

Our assessment tool looks at 12 different aspects of operations management including:

From the assessment, you will be able to realize where the company currently stands, what it can achieve and the next steps forward. In addition, we can also survey the company by looking at profile management practices and innovation, identifying strengths and opportunities.

A simple question really: What does your productivity look like? What are the quantifiable figures that can be pulled together?

• Part 1: We work with your staff to look at where and when value added work is completed, along with how much non-value added work (if any) is part of your company’s processes and practices.
• Part 2: We look at your company metrics to understand where you are or are not productive, as well as where we can benchmark against other companies. Through this, we can better assess where you can become more productive…and more profitable!
